About Community Factory

We run the handicraft factory (called Community Factory) to provide job opportunities to those who belong to the poorest families in rural region.We are challenging that we build up business by selling the products.

Our factory is located between Beng Mealea and Siem Reap ,so that you easily drop by our factory.You can see the girls working hard and our activities.On top of that,we will take you to the village and you can deepen the understanding of Cambodia and broaden the mind.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Community Factory.

Location
Our factory is located in 25km away from Siem Reap.
Since it is on the way to Beng Mealea,lots of tourists drop by our factory.
Our factory is Conveniently located on national route 6.

Visit type

1. SHORT VISIT
   Please freely drop by our factory. The visitors look around the factory and purchase our products. It is free of charge. (the guide is Cambodian. English or Khmer is available.)　
2. LONG VISIT
   We would thoroughly guide and explain our activity, the Cambodian’s life, the situation of child sexual exploitation and so on.
3. LONG VISIT with visiting village
   2. plus visiting village.You see the view of the village and worker's house.You understand more about theire lives.

• Handicraft making
  You can experience making handicrafts with Cambodians!

Fee

1. SHORT VISIT
   Free of charge!
2. LONG VISIT
1. guide by Japanese staff
   1~5 people $40/hour
   over 5 people $40+$5/person
2. guide by Cambodian staff
   1~5 people $10/hour
   over 5 people $10+$1.5/person

ex.) 7 visitors by Japanese guide
40$ +5$*2=50$

Attention

1. Open
• Monday ～Saturday
• 7:00-11:00,13:00-17:00
• National holiday is closed.
2. Road condition
• Road is covered with asphalt till CF.
• Roads are not covered to the village. But relatively better.
3. Maximum number of people
• 30 people can be entered to CF at the same time.
4. Booking
• SHORT VISIT :Booking On that day is OK.
• LONG VISIT：Booking by 5 days before .
  (It may be possible,Even one day before. please ask us.)
5. Toilet
• There are 2 toilets with bucket type.
